Your Move Campaign

Your Move is a sport and well-being campaign designed for the 13-19 year old youth. The goal of the campaign is to increase sporting activity and develop a new sporting culture among these youngsters.

Your Move campaign encourages the youth to take active responsibility in improving their personal and communal sporting activities. Together with the Your Move Staff the selected youth participate in the planning and the implementation phase of the various Your Move events.

The Grand Event 2011

The biggest event of the Your Move campaign is the Your Move 2011 Grand Event. Our Your Move Youth Team's members have already taken part in planning this event. Their role in the implementation phase will also be significant!

The grand event's goal is to attract 50 000 youngsters to have fun with numerous amounts sporting choices during 27.5. – 1.6.2011. The surrounding area of Helsinki City’s Olympic Stadium will be filled with fun, joy and laughter - guaranteed!

International Sport Pass

With the International Sport Pass the participant gets access to the International Sport Camp, Functional Seminar and to the following things:

Supervised sport program
Zone – program (supervised program and free program)
Your Move – tracks
Your Move –event market and other shows in the area
Sport show
Meals from Fri to Sun
Accommodation from Fri to Sun
Transportation between accommodation and the sport places

The price for the Sport Pass is 140 € / participant.

International Sport Camp 27.-29.5.2011

The International Sport Camp is a part of the SPORT-weekend at the Your Move Grand Event. The camp is aimed for 15–19 year olds from Finland and from abroad. The International Sport Camp is a brilliant opportunity to strengthen and develop international co-operation among young athletes.

The camp is organized by LUNK (Finnish Youth Committee for Sports) and the Young Finland Association. The participants will be taken care of by trained attachés and international volunteers. The attachés will accompany the participants during training hours and elsewhere in the area.

We have made it easy for you to take part in the International Sport Camp. By buying an International Sport Pass you are free to participate in activities arranged during the weekend. The pass also includes meals, camp-style accommodation in a school and transportations in Helsinki during the camp. Other issues considering the trip to Helsinki, reservations and costs are taken care of by the participants themselves.

Functional Seminar 27. - 29.5.2011

The Functional Seminar is part of the SPORT-weekend at the Your Move Grand Event. The seminar invites all sport youths from 18 to 25 year olds from Finland and abroad to have fun with numerous amounts of different sporting choices. The seminar is a brilliant opportunity to strengthen and develop international co-operation among young athletes.

The Functional Seminar teaches youths how to organize an event. Participants will get familiar with the subject by doing and learning. The way Your Move campaign has been done will be used as a working example in the seminar.

Social Media

Your Move campaign is active on the Social Media, though at the moment only in Finnish language. For example on the Your Move facebook fan-page members can share thoughts, ideas, pictures and videos or just make new friends! The campaign has also presence in the Finland's most popular Social Media platform IRC-Galleria, that has 80% of the whole youth population as its users.
